Autism Social Skills Groups

Club Social’s Autism Social Skills Groups offer individualized programming designed to support the unique social development needs of each participant. Using a structured assessment process, we tailor our approach to meet the specific strengths and challenges of every student, ensuring personalized and meaningful progress.

Club Social focuses on teaching essential social skills, including recognizing and responding to social cues (such as body language, facial expressions, tone of voice, and personal space), initiating and maintaining conversations, understanding perspectives, managing emotions in social settings, and building and maintaining friendships.

Club Social’s goal is to empower each student with the confidence and tools to connect meaningfully with others, in a supportive and structured environment.

Programs are customized for different
developmental stages and peer groups

  • Elementary school-aged students work on foundational social interactions, turn-taking, joint attention, and basic emotion recognition.
  • Middle school-aged students focus on deeper social understanding, peer group dynamics, problem-solving, and self-advocacy.
  • High school-aged students build on more advanced skills such as conflict resolution, perspective-taking, navigating social hierarchies, and preparing for adult social environments (school, work, and community).
