Because belonging is more than being in the room.
Las Vegas is my home. I grew up here, built my career here, and this is the community I have always wanted to make a difference in.
Belonging is also personal to me. I have family members on the spectrum, and through years of working with individuals and families, I've seen how powerful it can be when someone finds a place where they feel safe, included, comfortable, and genuinely wanted.
Over the past year, when families couldn't afford services, I've often said yes anyway. I've discounted sessions, provided complimentary sessions, and continued welcoming new members even when their families simply weren't in a position to pay.
I've done that because I believe finances should never be the reason someone loses access to friendship, connection, fun, and a community where they belong.
But doing that on my own isn't sustainable.
That's why we are creating Support a Club Member.
Your support may help cover participation costs, snacks and drinks, games and toys, activity supplies, special experiences, and other resources that help members feel included and have access to the same things as their peers.
It's being able to participate, play, eat, connect, and enjoy the same experiences as everyone else.
